Microsoft Outlook is an effective system for managing messaging and e-mail that we use every day. Even a minute saved on a repetitive operation can save you hours each week. This is why the plugins for Outlook (programs whose purpose is to improve some of the operations or add new features) are so popular today.
Being myself a user of Outlook, tested and used many different plug-ins. Some have proven very useful. Recently, I found a new plug-in for Outlook: YouSendIt lets you send emails with files up to 100 MB for free, and up to 2 GB if you use its payment service. You sign up, send the message from your user account on yousendit.com, the attached file and send it. The recipient will receive your whole message with a link to download the file that you sent.
This is a practice that solves the problem of sending too heavy attachments and before those were impossible to send through Outlook, given that by itself it does not allow it.
YouSendIt can be used in Microsoft Outlook 2003 and 2007. |

- To send an attachment greater than 100 MB you must pay for the service.
